Review
The recoloured form of the original Grade-ups Orudios, the Evil Pegasus photographed is actually the second one I've owned (The first was incomplete and sadly I had to sell him a while after I got the second one)
I adore Evil Pegasus' features
He possesses two switches. The main one, which is the larger switch situated at the base of his tail, turns the motor on and makes the Zoid walk forwards, while the smaller one, situated a bit further forward, is responsible for the other motorized features.
When this switch is on, Evil Pegasus will lower his head so as to point his horn threateningly, stretch out his wings and point his side lances forward.
Additionally, although he isn't officially a Grade Up Zoid, Evil Pegasus still possesses the Grade Up port of his predecessor - also powered by the second switch - however, just like Orudios, Evil Pegasus' wings prevent the Zoid from being able to equip any of them bar the GU-02 Pulse Cannon, and possibly the GU-03 Eye Flasher (But the latter is unconfirmed as yet)
Finally, Evil Pegasus' tail and lances can be raised and lowered manually.
So I was pretty chuffed to get my hands on this guy. Horse related types are an area never really touched on for official Zoids, with all the releases following Orudios being either a recolour, or a reissue of that one Zoid mould. But that's not to say the mould isn't pretty damn cool, although I will admit though I was a bit surprised to find that the back legs are just one piece, rather than jointed like the front ones. It works though, so that's fine by me, but my one real quib is with the wing pegs. Be very careful how you slide those buggers in, as, if they snap, they can be very tough to fix.
I will say the Evil Pegasus colour scheme is my favourite. It looks more formidable than the white and blue Orudios. I guess it didn't get the name for nothing.
I highly recommend Evil Pegasus, but unfortunately MIB examples tend to go for around $200+ on auction sites. However, if it's just the design you're looking for and don't mind the colour, you're probably better picking up a cheaper Graphics reissue Orudios.
