Red Horn
(Rhinoceros type)
Manufacturer: Tomy
Line: Zoids2
Origin of Release: Europe
Year of Release: Unknown
Crew Number: 2
Motor or Posable?: Wind up motor
Review
Not to be confused with the actual Red Horn, the Z2 Red Horn is actually a recoloured Black Rhimos... I'm sorry if you came here expecting a review of a Z2 version of the Styracosaurus and got disappointed.
Quite why they decided to release this guy under the name Red Horn is beyond me, but it doesn't subtract from what a neat little guy he is... once you've got past the fact that it's not a Styracosaurus
Like most Z2s, Red Horn is only partially chromed, and the chrome on Red Horn is a very pretty colour, which you really need to see in real life to fully appreciate.
When the motor is wound, Red Horn walks forward with the guns moving backwards and forwards and the option to have his horn spining if you position his head down.
Manually, the side guns can be folded out and the back can be opened up to reveal a second cockpit, which I'm told can also act as a one seater Hovercraft.
While there are better Z2s out there, Red Horn is worth getting for the chrome colour, but may require some patience to find.
