Belated birthday gift from Deathy. She bought it for me on the condition that I paint it pink. As a member of the Pink Menace how can I decline that? XD
I managed to snag this sweet lot cheap a few days ago After a fun day sorting out the parts I was able to get together 6 Zoids (And a few unzoidy parts to boot) This one was missing only its tail pilot (Or at least it would be if I hadn't nabbed its triple missile pod for OJR Sabre Tiger) It had a snapped leg peg and also suffered from the traditional broken tail ring, but both were fixed easily enough by glue. This guy was also pretty complete, although the one missing part (The rudder I believe) but sadly the piece actually snapped off in the hole, so it's going to need a whole new tail. The tip of the right wing is also snapped so the wing tip won't stay in properly. However balance it right, put it on display and don't touch it again and you wouldn't know the difference XD Spiderzoid was complete aside from a few caps and his head guns and Protozoid was missing his ears. I took the remaining caps from Protozoid for Spiderzoid (Since this is my second Protozoid, but my first Spiderzoid so priority for completion goes to him) This is the guy I'd been itching to put together since him saw it in the lot. He's missing his entire left arm, hand and the square-ended gun that goes on it and he suffers from the standard snapped tail peg which I glued back on and touch wood seems to be holding for the time being, but his lights are still working and I still love him to bits. He was also missing his motor, but he had his battery cover and thankfully I had a spare Z2 Zoidzilla one from a lot I bought months ago so it was just a case of switching the covers over and he's right as rain. Hopefully I can get him complete. Krark seems to be the worst off out of all the kits in the lot. He's missing his motor and the chest part and one of the guns that sits on the motor as well as some caps and is missing half of one section of his left wing, but thankfully even without the motor he seems to be able to hold himself together not too badly. He's just a bit gutless. I've taken to calling him Krark Prince of Cowardice. He's my second Krark but I've grown fond of him. If no-one takes him or his parts I might just give him a new lease of life as a custom Sabre wasn't actually part of the lot (I should be so lucky!) But he did benefit from it with a donor missile pod from Red Horn so he's now complete.
Not photographed was an unused Krark sticker sheet, to which my completed Krark says "I'll take that thank you!" |
